Protesters are taking to the streets of Washington DC on Saturday, August 28, to call for action over the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
Following the USwithdrawal, Taliban forces have taken control of the Afghan capital Kabul, with the country’s President Ashraf Ghani fleeing the country.

Thousands of Afghanis have also since fled the country in a bid to escape Taliban rule.
