Russian President Vladimir Putin gives a speech at an informal meeting of CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) leaders in St Petersburg on Tuesday, December 28.

Leaders are expected to sum up the results of 2021 and exchange views on current issues at an in-person meeting.

The next official meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council will take place in Kazakhstan in October 2022.
