The International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach is holding a press conference in Beijing on Friday, February 18, ahead of the upcoming end of the Winter Games.

President Thomas Bach and IOC President’s spokesman Mark Adams will address the media from Beijing Main Press Conference Room inside the closed media loop in the Winter Games host city.

Bach is expected to recap the highlights of the competition and will likely address the controversy surrounding 15-year-old Russian figure skater Kamilla Valieva, who tested positive for a banned doping substance but was allowed to continue competing in the Olympic Games.

The Beijing Winter Olympics will officially come to an end on Sunday, February 20th with the closing ceremony at Beijing’s National Stadium.
