The UN Security Council (UNSC) gathers in New York City on Monday, February 7, for a debate on ‘general issues relating to sanctions.’

The discussion, which has been part of the Council’s agenda since 2000, is aimed at reviewing various aspects of sanctions as an instrument of decision enforcement.
