A women’s rights march takes place in Washington D.C on Saturday, October 2, in support of abortion access as well as for greater equality.
The demonstration returns for its fifth annual iteration a month after a Texas law banning abortions after six weeks of pregnancy came into effect.

The Women’s March was a worldwide protest on January 21, 2017, the day after the inauguration of President Donald Trump.

It was one of the largest protests in the nation’s history as hundreds of thousands of women took to the streets in the nation’s capital and more joined in sister marches across the country and around the world.”
