A Long March-6A launch vehicle launched the Yunhai-3 satellite from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, Shanxi Province, northern China, on 11 November 2022, at 22:52 UTC (12 November, at 06:52 local time). According to official sources, Yunhai-3 (云海三号卫星) “has entered the preset orbit and will be used for atmospheric and marine environment surveys, space environment surveys, disaster prevention and reduction, and scientific experiments”.
