The Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza was hit by an airstrike today killing at least seven.

The health ministry in Gaza, run by Hamas, claims more than 9,000 people have been killed in the territory since 7 October.
Hamas also announced that seven of the hostages it was holding were killed during another Israeli strike on the Jabalia refugee camp on Tuesday.
That airstrike killed dozens of people and flattened several apartment buildings.
In a tweet, the UN Human Rights office said it had concerns that the Jabalia attack may have been ‘disproportionate’ and ‘could amount to war crimes.’

But Israel claims it was a ‘precision’ attack against a Hamas military commander and an underground command and control centre.

Satellite imagery shows the scale of the destruction left in the wake of the strike.

Airstrikes across Gaza have been intensifying in recent days, as Israeli ground forces move deeper into the territory.
