A US army reservist suspected of killing 18 people in a shooting in Maine was found dead after a two-day search, police said.

Robert Card opened fire at Schemengees Bar and Grille and at Just-In-Time Recreation bowling alley in Lewiston on Wednesday night.

Police found Card’s body near a river in Lisbon Falls around 19:45 local time. He’s believed to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
