Meet the woman who saves rodents

Most people run away from rodents but Valerie says we should have compassion for all creatures. As a wildlife rehabber, she has dedicated herself to helping the rodents in need.

Valerie has come across all kinds of characters during her rescue and rehab efforts. This flying squirrel was found on the ground before Valerie took him under her care. She finds mice to be particularly hilarious. I’m fairly certain this is not how it goes.

This one’s going into a trance during feeding, which is perfectly normal. But the cutest thing may be this orphaned baby squirrel cuddle puddle. Once the animals have healed, they are released back into the wild at the appropriate time.
