Merkel and Estonian PM call for "safe shelter" for refugees in countries neighbouring Afghanistan

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that she and Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas shared the same idea of providing refugees in the region around Afghanistan a safe shelter, and to work together on that topic, during a joint press conference in Berlin on Tuesday, as they two leaders discussed the fallout from the Taliban’s take over of the country.
