German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that she and Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas shared the same idea of providing refugees in the region around Afghanistan a safe shelter, and to work together on that topic, during a joint press conference in Berlin on Tuesday, as they two leaders discussed the fallout from the Taliban’s take over of the country.
