A group of 18 disabled dogs took their new wheelchairs for a spin at a Tangier beach, splashing and frolicking in the sand, as seen in footage filmed in September.
The puppies ran by the shore alongside Salima Sally Kadaoui, rescuer and founder of Sanctuaire de la Faune de Tanger (SFT Animal Sanctuary).
All of the dogs in the group were former strays, who were given a second chance after being neglected on the city’s streets.
Established by Kadaoui in 2013, SFT Animal Sanctuary is a charity offering a forever loving home to over 600 animals, and is located in Tangier.
