Motorcyclist Rams Into Hong Kong Police, as Violence Escalates During Protest Clashes

Shocking footage purports to show a motorcyclist driving his vehicle into a group of police officers in Hong Kong.

More than 370 people were arrested in the territory after they took to the streets to protest against the introduction of a new security law imposed by China.

As tensions escalated, police used water cannons to disperse crowds and one police officer was stabbed in the arm by a demonstrator.

Critics of the new legislation say it gives Beijing unprecedented power over Hong Kong, curtailing its freedoms as it criminalises acts of succession, subversion, terrorism and collusion.
