Lorries and other vehicles were seen in a seven-kilometre-long traffic jam in Rotterdam, on Thursday, as a blockade by protesters opposing the government’s coronavirus policies blocked traffic.
Maasvlakte Rotterdam was inaccessible for hours as activists blocked the Hutchison Ports ECT Delta terminal.
After hours of negotiation with the police, the activists reportedly withdrew from the area, allowing traffic to resume.
