New Bodycam Footage Shows Breonna Taylor’s Home After Police Raid

VICE News has obtained bodycam footage showing Breonna Taylor’s home moments after the police raid that led to her death in March.

Taylor, a black emergency medical worker, was shot multiple times by white police officers who stormed her home on a no-knock warrant.

The video appears to show possible police policy violations after the fatal shooting, including an officer entering the apartment after it was declared an active crime scene and asking about the shell casings on the floor.

The second part of the video shows an officer threatening to unleash a police dog on Taylor’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker. He fired at police first as he thought they were intruders.

Before this footage emerged, Louisville police department released a statement saying that there were no bodycams worn during the incident.
