New rocket engine for China’s next human-rated launch vehicle

According to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, a new rocket engine successfully completed long duration and multiple ignition tests on 14 June 2022. The liquid hydrogen (LH2)-liquid oxygen (LOX) engine is designed to be used in the third stage of China’s next human-rated launch vehicle.
