New footage released by North Korea state media shows the moment they blew up a symbolic office near the Korean border.

The liaison office was built to improve ties with their southern neighbours.

Following the destruction of the building Kim Yeon-chui, the South Korean unification minister, offered his resignation as tensions with the North escalate.

North Korea has said it is prepared to send its troops into areas along the heavily militarised border.
