It was another ‘normal week of training’ for Manchester United despite Mason Greenwood’s suspension over sexual assault allegations, coach Ralf Rangnick told reporters during a press conference in Manchester on Thursday.

“We had a good and normal week of training with five training sessions including today’s training. Obviously, I suppose it was a topic within the team but they are all human beings and Mason (Greenwood) was part of the group until before we had our break,” Rangnick explained.

Greenwood, a 20 year old forward was suspended by Manchester United following his arrest over allegations of sexual abuse, rape and threats to kill made against a woman identified as Harriet Robson, his girlfriend.

On Wednesday, he was released on bail by Greater Manchester Police pending a formal investigation.
