North Korea marks 10th anniversary of Kim Jong-il’s death

North Korea has marked the 10th anniversary of the death of former leader Kim Jong-il.

His son and current leader, Kim Jong-un, attended a ceremony at Pyongyang’s Kumsusan Palace of the Sun.

Kim Jong-il ruled North Korea from 1994 until his death in 2011 from a heart attack, when he was 69 years old.
