Officers check 'Green Pass' in Milan's stations as unvaxxed passengers banned from public transport

Security officers were seen asking passengers to show their COVID Green Pass in order for them to be able to use public transport, as seen in Milan on Monday.

Images show inspectors carrying out checks at the Cadorna train station and Lanza metro stop.

The pass was previously only required for high-speed trains and long-distance journeys, now it will be compulsory for local buses, trams, and the metro.

The new ‘Super Green Pass’ is part of measures that came into force this week, only accepting vaccinated and recovered people to enter theatres, cinemas, sports facilities, hotels, and ski resorts.
