A passenger on board a Red Air flight that crash-landed in Miami has captured the terrifying moment he evacuated the burning plane.

The jet carrying 126 passengers from the Dominican Republic caught fire when its landing gear failed upon landing at Miami International Airport.

One passenger caught the moment the Red Air MD-82 jetliner touched down on the runway on camera - the landing gear giving way can be heard in the background.
