Peruvian authorities introduced new COVID safety measures for the holidaymakers by separating beach spots for members of different households, as seen in the footage filmed in Chorrillos, near Lima, on Saturday.

The Agua Dulce beach can be seen divided into equal square-shaped zones located at a safe distance one from another, as per the governmental disposition.

The new measure was implemented to prevent the massive spread of the new Omicron variant of coronavirus during the holiday season.
