Bison could be seen at the Polish-Belarusian border in the Bialowieza forest, which is home to the largest population of European bison.

The animal could be seen next to barbed wire in footage recorded on Wednesday, and according to the Polish border guards, four bison crossed into the polish side.

Poland began constructing a 186-kilometre-long (115 miles) wall, with around 50 kilometres (31 miles) cutting through the Bialowieza Forest National Park in a bid to keep migrants crossing over from Belarus. Work on the wall, which is estimated to cost €350 million ($400 million), began on January 25 and is expected to take around five months.
