A group of migrants attempting an overnight border crossing from Belarus into Poland were intercepted by Polish forces on Wednesday evening.

The Polish Ministry of Defence has claimed the migrants were stopped in the vicinity of Dubicze Cerkiewne, although this information cannot be independently verified.

According to Poland’s Ministry of Defence, a group of approximately 100 migrants were detained in the incident.
