Police to Investigate Prince Charles' Charity

The Metropolitan Police is investigating cash-for-honours allegations linked to the Prince of Wales’s charity, The Prince’s Foundation.

Investigations stem from a letter the Met received in September 2021 which relates to media reports that former CEO Michael Fawcett allegedly offered to help secure an honour for a Saudi citizen in return for past and future donations.

Clarence House reiterated its previous stance that Prince Charles had “no knowledge of the alleged offer of honours or British citizenship on the basis of donation to his charities”.
