Putin and Lukashenko Bond over Skiing and Snowmobiles at Russian Resort

Vladimir Putin hosted Alexander Lukashenko have been bonding over winter sports at a Russian ski resort this week.

They were filmed skiing, riding snowmobiles and having lunch at a chalet.

The Kremlin is giving both economic and political support to Lukashenko despite his disputed re-election and massive protests against his rule in Belarus.

It’s been reported Lukashenko travelled to Russia to secure a massive $3 billion loan.

Belarus is also reliant on the supply of Russia’s Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine.

Lukashenko professed gratitude to Putin for sharing vaccine technology so Belarus can begin its own production of the Sputnik jab as soon as next month.
