Several thousand supporters gathered at Loudoun County Fairground on Monday, for the final rally of the Republican Candidate for the Governor of Virginia Glenn Youngkin.
One of the main pillars of the Youngkin campaign is the issue of parental involvement in schools’ programs and what should be taught at schools.
Youngkin promised the parents that they will be “in charge of their children’s education”.
The Republican candidate promised that on the first day in office he will ban the teaching of the critical race theory in schools.
Various level elections, which are also being referred to as “early midterms,” take place across the US prior to the proper midterm elections scheduled for next year and will mark half the presidential term.
In Virginia voters will be putting Biden’s presidency to test by choosing a new governor between Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Youngkin, who according to polls are currently neck and neck.
