‘Riots ERUPT in Sweden Ahead of Extremist Rally’

Days of aggressive counter-protests have been sparked across Sweden against numerous far-right rallies.

The demonstrations were in response to an event to burn a copy of the Quran in the town of Landskrona, organised by the far-right, anti-Muslim political party, Hard Line.

Police allowed the rally to go ahead, and moved it 27-miles south, to the city of Malmo.

But this failed to quell counter-riots, as opponents of the far-right party burned and threw stones at police cars and city buses.
