Salon owner creates hair-tfelt Boris Johnson mosaic as thank you for COVID response

Owner of Hair by Davinia in Rockwell Green Davinia Fox displayed her Boris Johnson mosaic on Friday made entirely from hair cut at her salon.

“I decided to do a picture of Boris Johnson, it’s all out of hair. It is loose, so if I was to lift it it would all fly everywhere. I’ve decided to do this purely to give something back to the country,” explained Davinia.

Fox created the image out of waste hair she collected during the pandemic. She said she made the piece in honour of the work PM Boris Johnson has put in throughout the pandemic and also as a celebration of her industry.

It took the hairdresser 16 hours over two days to create the artwork.
