Shocking Moment BLM Protester Gunned Down at Close Range in Austin

8-year-old Garrett Foster has been shot and killed in Austin, Texas, during a Black Lives Matter protest on Saturday July 25th.
The shocking video shows a car driving through protesters, before the driver opens fire moments later. According to witnesses, the vehicle sped through demonstrators before hitting a barrier and stopping. The Austin police chief said Foster, who was carrying a rifle while pushing his girlfriend’s wheelchair, pointed the firearm at the driver’s window before being shot three times. The other three shots that can be heard in the video are fired by a protester.

The driver fled the scene, but then called 911 to report the incident. They were taken into police custody but later released.
Carrying rifles is common at protests in Texas, which has liberal gun laws.
Foster and his girlfriend had been demonstrating for about 50 days straight before the incident.
