NASA and Northrop Grumman conducted a full-scale Flight Support Booster (FSB-2) static test at Northrop Grumman’s test facility in Promontory, Utah, on 21 July 2022, at 20:01 UTC (14:01 local time; 16:01 EDT). NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) will be powered by two Solid Rocket Booster (SRB) that produce more than 75% of the rocket’s thrust during the first two minutes of ascent.
