A group of corgis, along with some huskies and Labradors enjoyed the snow at Sunac Snow Park in Wuxi on Sunday. 56 dogs and 100 pet parents travelled from Shanghai to the skiing resort, one of the biggest snow parks in eastern China, for the New Year Holiday.

The dogs were filmed having a marvelous time playing with each other and their pet parents. They amused themselves as they rolled, ran and played in the snow trail.

The scale of the event was supposed to be bigger but the organisers were obliged to limit the number of the attendees due to the resurgence of COVID-19 and the threat of the Omicron variant.

“My dog is living in southern China, who probably won’t have many chance to see the snow. So, I decided to take him to experience the snow this time,” said pet parent of a corgi Teng Sixu.

The owners had prepared the skiing costumes for both themselves and their dogs, so, they could enjoy skiing or rolling in the snow.

I read the organiser block booking the skiing centre this time, as we wouldn’t be able to take the dogs to the general skiing centre. So, it is a good chance for the dogs owners to enjoy skiing with the dogs.”
