The final stage of the Epic Cape mountain biking race came to a close on Sunday in Wellington, Western Cape with Sina Frei and Laura Stigger taking their 7th victory in the women’s division of the tournament.
In the men’s race team NinetyOne-songo-Specialized with Jordan Sarrou and Matthew Beers finished first.
For eight days, mountain bikers battled 620km of challenging terrain and extreme weather conditions before crossing the finishing line in Wellington.
Last year’s Cape Epic was cancelled due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
