The Inspiration 4 mission launched into orbit from Cape Canaveral on Wednesday.
The first all-civilian mission comprises four people representing the ‘pillars’ of the mission: leadership, hope, generosity and prosperity. The crew will travel across low orbit for several days before returning to Earth. The mission has a goal of raising awareness and funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
A SpaceX Falcon rocket and Dragon spacecraft were used for the mission.
