The Catalan National Assembly carried out a surprise protest action in the form of a projection speaking out against the visit of King Felipe VI to Barcelona, on Monday.

Footage shows a huge projection on the city’s Venetian Towers, near Espanya Square in the centre of Barcelona. The projection features a flipped image of King Felipe VI and a proclamation that reads “Occupation forces get out.”

Felipe VI carried out a series of official activities in Barcelona during the day, the monarch’s sixth visit to the city during 2021.
