The continued eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano was seen from the Jable viewpoint, on the island of La Palma, on Wednesday.

The seismicity associated with the volcanic eruption broke a daily record on Tuesday with 374 small earthquakes registered, the highest since it began expelling lava on September 19.

According to representatives of the Canarias Volcanic Emergency Plan (Pevolca), the area affected by the lava is estimated at 1,134 hectares.
