Fires lit up Khartoum’s streets on Monday after several members of Sudan’s interim transitional government were arrested my the military amid reports of a military coup.
Civilian Prime Minister Abdallah Hamdok and four more ministers were among those reportedly detained by soldiers on Monday.
Military and political leaders have been in-fighting ever since previous leader Omar al-Bashir was overthrown two years ago.
