‘Sudan’s PM Abdalla Hamdok Resigns after Months of DEADLY Protests’

Sudan’s Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok has resigned from the military-controlled government after a series of pro-democracy protests.

On Sunday, security forces violently dispersed demonstrators in the capital - leaving two people dead.

At least 57 people are believed to have been killed in the months of turmoil.

Hamdok’s resignation leaves the army in full control.
