Sussex Police have come under fire after footage surfaced of a PCSO refusing to attend an alleged assault, which was happening just meters away at a local Co-op.

The footage has since gone viral and has been heavily criticised online.

In a statement, Sussex Police have now apologised for the officers “clumsy” use of language and say the matter will be investigated.
