Syria’s air defence system intercepted several missile attacks allegedly coming from Israel, on Monday evening, according to a statement from the country’s military.​
Footage from Homs shows a missile crossing the night sky, believed to be from the air defence system.
“At around 7:16 p.m. this evening, the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression from the direction north of Beirut,” read the statement from the Syrian ministry of defence, adding most missiles were shot down, though two soldiers were injured.​
