A woman was almost hit in the head by a flying nozzle after a car drove off still while still attached to a pump at a petrol station in Bridgewater, Tasmania.

The terrifying moment, captured on CCTV by Tas Petroleum, shows the hose connecting the nozzle to the bowser flinging back at high speed, narrowly missing the woman.

“We are sorry for your unfortunate bad experience on our site, and would like to give you some free fuel,” said Tas Petroleum in a statement to the lucky costumer who escaped unscathed.
