The First Russian Reservists are Sent to WAR

Just over a week after Vladimir Putin announced the call up of 300,000 reservists to join the invasion of Ukraine, the Russian Army’s newest recruits have begun their training.

This footage released by Russian state television shows draftees familiarising themselves with the gargantuan Giatsint-B 152-mm guns and monstrous T90M tanks.

Though the Kremlin promised to only call up those with combat or service experience to fight in Ukraine, human rights groups say men who do not fit the criteria are being rounded up.
