A large bronze mask was discovered at the Sanxingdui archaeological site, Sichuan Province, China. According to Xu Feihong, archaeologist in charge of the ritual pit no. 3, the mask is “the largest bronze mask unearthed in Sanxingdui, and even the largest in the Shang and the Zhou dynasties.”
