‘Tiananmen Statue REMOVED From Hong Kong University’

Hong Kong University has removed a statue commemorating the Tiananmen massacre.

The Pillar of Shame, which depicts 50 twisted bodies, had stood at the site for 24 years.

It symbolised those killed in a bloody military crackdown at Tiananmen Square in 1989.
