Three Russian warships could be seen passing through the Dardanelles Strait by Canakkale on Tuesday, heading towards the Black Sea via the Sea of Marmara to take part in military exercises, according to Russia’s Defence Ministry.

Black SeaTurkish Coast Guard boats accompanied the Russian ships through Turkey for security reasons during the passage of the strait.
