Supporters gathered on Tuesday outside the HDP Peoples’ Democratic Party office building in Istanbul, which was attacked by an armed assailant leaving one person injured.
Supporters showed up outside the building, amid a police presence. Supporters chanted and stayed until evening in a show of solidarity.
The attacker carried weapons including a knife, according to local news reports.
The attack on the HDP office is the second major attack targeting the party in only six months. In June, a female employee was killed as an armed attacker broke into HDP Izmir Provincial Organisation.
