Turkey: Wildfires continue in Marmaris as blaze spreads across coast

Wildfires continued to rage on in Turkey’s Marmaris on Tuesday forcing evacuations of local residents and tourists.

The death toll from the fires on the country’s southern coast climbed to eight on Sunday after bodies of a Turkish-German couple were found in their burned home in Manavgat, Antalya.

Local authorities warned that the region may face further fires for weeks.
