Turkey: Youth activists hold anti-war, anti-NATO rally in Istanbul

Hundreds of members of leftist youth organisations gathered in Istanbul’s Besiktas district on Tuesday, calling for both NATO and Russia to withdraw from Ukraine immediately.

Leftist youth organisations ‘The Youth of Labour’ (Emek Gencligi), ‘The Communist Youth of Turkey’ (Turkiye Komunist Gencligi) and ‘Left Young’ (Sol Genc) organised a ‘Say Stop to the Imperialist War’ protest, as seen in the footage.

Protesters marched and held signs reading ‘Say Stop to the Imperialist War’, ‘Neither NATO nor Russia, no to war.’
