Dubai residents and visitors experienced a spectacular fireworks and light show at the Burj Khalifa to ring in 2022 on Friday.
The 829.8-metre (2,722 ft) tower was surrounded by fireworks and illuminated by a projected light show.
More than 177,000kg of fireworks and 60 lasers projected were used this year to celebrate the New Year at the world’s tallest building.
