UAE: FM Le Drian marks France National Day at Expo 2020 in Dubai

French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian attended the official flag-raising ceremony to mark his country’s National Day at Expo 2020 in Dubai on Saturday.

The ceremony took place at Al-Wasl Square under the enormous dome located in the heart of the exhibition centre in the presence of French and Emirati delegations as well as visitors to the World Expo.

Earlier, the famous aerobatic squadron ‘Patrouille de France’ had painted the sky above the pavilions blue, white and red.

The Expo 2020 show opened its doors on Friday and is set to run until March 31, 2022.
