American Secretary of State Antony Blinken met Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio on the sidelines of the G7 meeting in Liverpool on Saturday

Italian Foreign Minister thanked Blinken and described the bilateral relations between the US and Italy as “improving a lot.”

The G7 meeting, hosted by the UK within their G7 presidency, follows the COP27 in Glasgow and the G7 summit which took place in Carbis Bay.

For the first time, the summit will be attended by Southeast Asian countries that are members of the ASEAN organisation.
